I wanted to share with you the latest newsletter from the MDAO. It’s got some great stuff in there so make sure to check it out. Here’s a sneak peak:
The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario
works every day to open hearts and minds,
inspire hope and effect change for those of us
living with mood disorders.
This year, the focus of MDAO’s Mental Illness
Awareness Week campaign, October 4th to
10th, will be to encourage Ontarians to be
proactive about their mental health by going
to the Check Up from the Neck Up website
to “check it out”.
We are encouraging early intervention and
would like everyone to know that early intervention
helps to ensure good mental health
and saves lives.
Our initiative will take place throughout Ontario
at events organized by our various support
groups across the province, as well as in
three Yonge Line subway stations in Toronto
(Eglinton, Bloor and King) on Wednesday October
7th during the morning rush hour.
