It would be great to be able to pass on to someone all of the successes, the failures, and the knowledge that one has had. To help someone, avoid all the fire, pain and anxiety would be wonderful.

Isn’t that what parenting is all about? Wanting to embrace our children and shade them from all the bad stuff. The reality is that every day as we challenge ourselves that one step further and as the anxiety plagues Sydney’s body I want nothing more than to be able to have her see with my eyes that life does get better and if one has the determination they can conquer the anxiety. I want to show her through my eyes that she will have friends, she will be able to walk into a room of strangers and survive. Anxiety will always be with her but one day at a time she’ll grow stronger.
