Wow. what a morning you had! You surely deserve that big cup of coffee. It sounds like you handled the morning very well. Well, actually I know you did. Or Sydney would not have been sitting by the wall watching you walk away without any tears. {{hugs}}

Darlene: What a well descripted writing of events. I think you did the right things! Nicely done! Do you think Ethran is feeling less acknowledged becasue Syd gets so much attention in regards to her anxieties? balance is so very important, I would consider, if you haven't already, sitting him down alone and explaining in layman's terms what Syd is going through and you know that he may feel left out at times, but that is not true!
I know how important this is as my son has anxiety more than my daughter at times and it can cause jealousy issues.
Believing in the staff at the school is one thing you should grasp as you are walking away. These kids are so strong and they teach us so very much, take the time where you are not hyperfocused on Syd and focus on you and your passion. I have an immense respect and admiration for you! I am so glad that I have found your blog!

Great job today and you should feel great about yourself and your reactions!
